As a passionate street photographer, I am connecting people, things and colors in the modern urban life. My photos are often complex and my signature work shows a high use of reflections and transparency. Topics are the conjunction of advertising and urban life, of screaming colors and grey city streets with their anonymous people.
Most of them are shot in Cologne, some additional projects come from Amsterdam and London.
My inspiration comes from legendary photographer Saul Leiter and contemporary artists like Daido Moriyama from Japan or Dutch artist Maarten Rots. Besides my photography I started the blog Street Photography Cologne in 2015 and founded the Street Photography Cologne Collective with my friend Andreas Ott in 2017.
